Staying at 98 Acres was a mixed experience for us. The views were absolutely stunning and the dining options were fantastic, but we faced several issues with the room that left us disappointed. While the service was good at times, the facilities did not meet our expectations for the price we paid. Overall, it's a beautiful place, but there are definitely some improvements needed.

Rooms
7.0
Our room was spacious and beautifully designed with natural materials, offering a spectacular terrace with breathtaking views. However, it could have benefited from some amenities like a coffee table to keep our belongings off the floor. Despite the comfort, the lack of an air conditioner made it uncomfortable during the hot midday hours.
Service
7.0
The service was attentive, and the staff were helpful when we needed assistance. However, there were times when we felt they could have been more welcoming, especially compared to other places we visited in Sri Lanka.
Location
8.0
The hotel is set on a hill, offering a quiet environment and direct views of the surrounding mountains and Little Adam's Peak. It's a bit of a trek to get to certain areas, but the beauty around made it worth it.
Dining
9.0
The dining experience was amazing with a great variety of options to choose from, and I can confidently say the food we had there was among the best in Sri Lanka. The ambiance was also lovely, enhancing our meals.
Facilities
6.0
While the overall facilities were decent, the swimming pool was quite small, which might not suit everyone looking for a swimming experience. Overall, they could improve on some amenities.

I had a wonderful experience at this resort, with breathtaking views and a comfortable room that provided the perfect escape in nature. The staff truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the hotel's location on the hillside is simply stunning. However, dining options were a bit underwhelming, both in variety and pricing, which puts a damper on an otherwise great stay.

Rooms
8.0
The room was comfortable and offered incredible views of the lush hills, but it felt a bit dark at times.
Service
9.0
The staff was attentive and friendly, catering to all our needs and dietary requirements, but some interactions were less personal than I expected.
Location
10.0
The resort's location is fantastic, set on the hillside with stunning views and a quiet atmosphere, yet close enough to explore the town.
Dining
6.0
Dining options were decent but not very varied, with added costs for certain items that I didn't expect.
Facilities
7.0
The resort had good facilities, including a lovely pool area, but the dining experience could use some improvement.

I had higher expectations for my stay at this hotel, especially considering the reviews I'd heard. The room was small and had an amazing view, which was its only redeeming feature. Unfortunately, the bed was incredibly uncomfortable, and I found the dining experience to be lackluster. Additionally, having to pay for basic amenities that are usually complimentary at such hotels was quite disappointing.

Rooms
5.0
The room was small but had an amazing terrace view of Adam's Peak. Unfortunately, it lacked air conditioning and the bed was uncomfortable with poor-quality linens.
Service
5.0
While the initial check-in was quick and we received a lovely welcome, the overall service fell short. I faced issues with payment for water at the pool and a lack of assistance with the spa.
Location
6.0
The hotel is located a 25-minute walk from downtown, which makes for a lovely stroll but isn't exactly convenient if you're looking for easy access to restaurants.
Dining
5.0
The dinner menu was average, and breakfast options were limited with added costs for coffee. Overall, the dining experience did not meet my expectations.
Facilities
5.0
The pool was small and lacked amenities typical of a resort spa. Overall, the facilities felt underwhelming and not well-maintained.

The hotel is set in a stunning countryside with breathtaking views, making it a picturesque location for a getaway. The rooms are spacious and feature a big balcony that overlooks Little Adam's Peak, which is incredible to wake up to. However, the hotel is overpriced for what it offers, and the dining experience leaves much to be desired due to high prices and mediocre service.

Rooms
9.0
The rooms were lovely, boasting a spacious layout with a big balcony and a comfortable bed. Waking up to the view of Little Adam's Peak was truly amazing.
Service
7.0
The staff was welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, though the service in the dining area felt a bit haphazard at times.
Location
10.0
The location is unbeatable, nestled right in the heart of a tea plantation with fabulous views and close proximity to Little Adam's Peak.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience had a good spread, but the food felt overpriced for what was served. The menus seemed a bit worn out, affecting the overall impression.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities include a pool that, while available, is unheated and not as appealing as portrayed in marketing materials.

My stay at this hotel was highlighted by breathtaking views surrounded by lush tea plantations, making it a visual paradise. The rooms, although comfortable, lacked a premium feel despite some nice features. The dining experience, unfortunately, fell short of my expectations, and I found the food options in need of improvement. Despite these downsides, the staff truly stood out, providing friendly and accommodating service throughout my stay.

Rooms
7.0
The room I stayed in offered lovely views and was generally comfortable, though not as luxurious as I had hoped.
Service
9.0
The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience.
Location
10.0
The hotel is perfectly situated near scenic spots like Little Adam's Peak and the Nine Arches Bridge, enhancing the overall experience.
Dining
5.0
Dining could definitely use some work, as the breakfast selection was quite limited and did not meet five-star expectations.
Facilities
6.0
While the overall facilities were nice, the pool area felt neglected and could benefit from more attention.
